Queensland Historic Listed House Renovation – Cairns North

When we were approached by the owner of this Queensland Heritage Listed house to undertake a major extension we jumped at the chance to show case our expertise on this type of construction, the extension was to entail the installation of a internal lift, internal fernery and lounge area with a wet bar, up stairs sitting area with a external veranda and a new outdoor BBQ area.

Herries Private Hospital is a heritage-listed former maternity hospital which operated from 1921 to 1938 and now private home located in Cairns. It was built from 1880s circa to 1920. It is now known as Herries House. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 28 July 2000.
